It isn’t OUR message…it is God’s message! And are we ever enjoying hearing about it each night! We can enjoy God’s message of salvation, because we have accepted it OR we can can listen to God’s Word and His plan of salvation so we CAN accept it.
We will try and share some of the outlines from this series, but it really can’t replace being at the meeting. We really pray you can come – Sunday-Friday, 7:30-8:30pm, this week and next!
The Reality of Being a Christian – this life ends – and is there anything after that? The Word of God tell us that there are two options:
- Judgement: For someone that is lost in their sin, rejected God and His Son’s finished work on the Cross, God’s judgement awaits: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27)
- Eternity with God: For someone that is saved, has trusted Christ and His work on the Cross: eternal life and eternity with their Savior: “absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 5:8)
We learned about the reality of being a Christian through the biblical account of Nicodemus. “Ye Must Be Born Again” and “Except a person is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God” (John 3)
