Missionary Report: Venezuela

Mr. Kenneth Turkington visited us on Wednesday, January 31st to share with us about the work of the Lord in Venezuela. As you may know, the country is reeling with political turmoil, which is causing many difficulties with physical life – lack of affordable and available medicines, food, transportation, etc. The monthly minimum wage (if someone were to even have that) is equal to about $4USD. Yes, just $4. A bundle of food that supply a family would be around $70USD a month.

However, the good news of the Gospel still flourishes, and souls are still coming to the knowledge of their soul’s salvation

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
